The Guide's Pack Lash Straps

Finally, a clean way to attach my jacket and rain shell to the outside of my pack without any dangly bits or awkward knots. The straps are just the right length to double back and cinch tight, and they’ve held up perfectly on two muddy weekend hikes so far.

I’m always a little skeptical of add-on straps, but these are sturdier than I expected. The lashing points hold my extra jacket snugly even on rocky trails, and they’re easy to adjust with gloves on.

I've been using these to strap my rolled-up jacket to the outside of my pack on wet days, and they hold it rock-solid even on bumpy trails. The lashing points cinch down tight without any slipping, which is exactly what I needed.
