I’ve had these for a few weeks now and the 8" length is perfect for hooking my keys to a bag loop without them dangling awkwardly. The snap hooks are solid and click shut with a satisfying feel, so I never worry about them coming loose.
The little pull loop makes it so easy to grab my keys out of my bag even when they're buried at the bottom, and the snap-hook is solid enough that I never worry about them slipping off. I got the 8" version and it's the perfect length for clipping onto my backpack's shoulder strap.
